Design & Build

This £5.0 million project consisted of the design and construction of a new three storey office building at the University of Nottingham’s Innovation Park on Jubilee Campus, to provide a head office base for Romax Technology, an innovative company specialising in software and services for gearbox, bearings and driveline systems, who were keen to make their home on the universities Innovation Park.

The new building has a gross internal floor area of 3,100m2 and is designed to BREEAM Excellent standard. The project was made more challenging due to it being located on a live University Campus. Strict Traffic Management and regular consultation with neighbouring buildings were required to minimise disruption and ensure a safe working environment.

Contract Period: 52 weeks

The new facility provides flexible and cellular office spaces, administrative accommodation,meeting room facilities and dining areas.

The state of the art design incorporates a green roof, extensive solar shading and heated and powered by the central CHP unit.
